George and Amal Clooney may have had the fairytale wedding of the year in 2014, but the couple kept it low-key for their first anniversary.
The pair brought a friend for their date night at Asanebo Sushi in Studio City, Calif. to kick off their celebrations.
George kept it casual in a black button down, jeans and a clean-shaved goatee.
Style maven Amal stunned in an easy striped maxi dress by TOME with wedge heels. She smiled as the cameras caught them leaving dinner.

Clooney dished on their anniversary plans for the day of, saying it wasn’t going to be as glamorous as the couple expected.

"Unfortunately, I have to speak at Jerry Weintraub's memorial," Clooney told Entertainment Tonight. "This is his last producorial way of screwing me over, that on my anniversary, I have to go to his memorial."
The pair wed on Sept. 27 last year in a whirlwind three-day wedding in Venice, Italy.
