Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton Celebrate Her Son Apollo’s Birthday With An Adorable Tribute
Gwen Stefani is giving a special shout out to her youngest son. On Friday, February 28, the Voice coach, 50, honored her son Apollo’s birthday with a special tribute on social media which also featured her boyfriend Blake Shelton.
The “Hollaback Girl” singer shared a cute family selfie in which she was seen posing next to Apollo, 6, while Blake, 43, was seen wrapping his arms around the birthday boy. “6 years ago GOD blessed us w this little angel boy. #thankyouGOD, #happybirthday #APOLLO.”
Multiple sources have told People that over the four years Gwen and Blake have been dating, the country star has become a strong male figure to Gwen’s three sons, Kingston, 13, Zuma, 11, and Apollo.
It’s also been revealed that while staying respectful to Gwen’s ex-husband Gavin Rossdale’s role as their father, the “God’s Country” singer has played a huge part in raising the boys over the last few years.
An insider told the publication, “He’s so fun and has shown Gwen’s kids another side of life filled with adventure.” They added, “The boys have really grown immensely by spending time with Blake.”

During an appearance on the Today show in early 2019, the “Rich Girl” singer opened up about Blake’s relationship with her kids. “He is a good dad, actually,” Gwen explained. “He’s been helping me out a lot. I literally get to the point where I’m like, ‘You gotta get home—I need help!’ It’s hard. I got three boys.”
Prior to dating Blake, Gwen was married to Gavin, 54, for almost 13 years before their split after he allegedly had an affair with the family’s longtime nanny. During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres show, the singer broke down in tears over their messy split.
During their conversation, Ellen alluded to Gwen’s past few tumultuous years. “Gwen, you know, she deserves everything she has. She deserves this love, she deserves the life that she has, and the career. Because she went through a lot,” Ellen, 62, explained. “now I’m crying on TV, too,” Gwen responded, quickly overcome with tears. “I love you, and I hated to see what you were going through, and you didn’t deserve it,” Ellen told her, presumably referring to her divorce.
