Gwyneth Paltrow Claims Alternative Medicine Cured Her Postpartum Depression

Gwyneth Paltrow is making a name for herself as a health guru after founding her wellness company Goop. And now, Gwyneth's talking about her all-natural way of dealing with postpartum depression. Read on for more details.
“I had postnatal depression, as you know, after my son," Gwyneth said during her latest goop Podcast. "A doctor tried to put me on antidepressants and I thought, if I need them, then yes, I’ll come back to it."
Gwyneth suffered from postpartum depression after giving birth to her son Moses, who she shares with her ex-husband Chris Martin.
While she said antidepressants "are lifesavers for certain people for sure," she chose to go with alternative methods.

“I thought, well, what if I went to therapy and I started exercising again, and I stopped drinking alcohol and I just gave myself a period of regeneration and I slept more? I really broke out of it,” Gwyneth explained.
The actress-turned-entrepreneur is also mother to her daughter Apple, 14.
