Shahs of Sunset's Mercedes "MJ" Javid and her hubby Tommy Feight heard the sound of wedding bells when they walked down the altar last April. But last night's episode of Bravo's resident Persian reality show revealed some interesting details about the two's "double standard" prenuptial agreement. Keep reading to hear more about it.
MJ and her lawyer sat down and she laid out exactly what she wants in case the marriage doesn't pan out. "This prenuptial agreement is my insurance deal," she said.
The reality star requested that she also wants 50 percent of Tommy's wealth if and when his marketing company becomes successful. She also demanded that all of his income will be community property during their marriage.
"There is no 50/50 in this. My approach is very feminist and very smart... It’s a double standard prenup. I’m really not very negotiable." The expectant mother explained to her lawyer.

A "double standard" prenup essentially means that the agreement between both partners basically favors the wealthier of the two. The richer partner is usually a female and can sometimes be unfair to the male in the relationship.
Mercedes intended to keep whats hers is hers. "Mine is mine," she said. She also wanted her dog, Toya to be included in the prenup as well as any frozen embryos to be kept with MJ.
