This is so sad! Khloe Kardashian mourned the loss of her pet dog Gabanna this week, whom she rehoused last year after her parents went through their divorce. The animal lover shared the sad news on social media, posting the absolute cutest pictures of the 11-year-old.

As followers know, Khloe is the ultimate animal lover, even shooting a campaign for PETA back in 2008 to stand up against animal cruelty.

The pregnant reality star wrote as a caption, “Last night my sweet Gabbana passed away ?? She was more than a pet. She was my first child, my companion and my friend. She was incredible!”

She continued, “She made sure I was never lonely even during lonely times. The house will never be the same. I never thought I would be this devastated over loosing a dog but 14 years, is a long time together. She filled a significant role in my life and I'm forever grateful. I love you Goober!! I'll remember you always!”

Friends were quick to show support, including Kim Zolciak’s daughter Brielle Biermann. Khloe told her, “I never knew I would be this sad!! It’s heartbreaking.”

She then told the rest of her fans who offered prayers and words of encouragement, “Thank you everyone for your love and well wishes! She was so loved.”
