Heather Locklear is making great strides. After several failed attempts to remain sober, the Melrose Place actress, 57, stays positive on her journey to recovery.

On August 20, Heather Instagrammed a photo of an encouraging poster that read, “You’re still sober. Keep that’s**t up.”

“So grateful,” Heather captioned the post with a praying hands emoji. Friends and fans commented with heart emojis. Some shared their own personal stories of recovery. Others cheered on the actress.

The Dyansty actress struggled with substance abuse for years, and had been in and out of rehab multiple times.

In May, Heather went to rehab after a nasty fight with her boyfriend Chris Hessier. After that major screaming match, the Two And A Half Men actress realized that she lost control and needed to recover.

This isn’t the first time Heather got professional help. In November 2018, she was committed to a psychiatric ward for a 72-hour stay, which was then extended for another two weeks.

She was also sent to a different psychiatric ward in June 2018. The actress faced charges for resisting arrest and battery of a police officer.

Heather was given until September 6 to check in, and complied with the order by entering a facility on August 19, RadarOnline.com reports.
