Ian Somerhalder has always had a thing for vampires – and now he’s marrying one! The Vampire Diaries star is engaged to Twilight alum Nikki Reed after only six months of dating!
“She accepted with glee,” an insider spilled to Us Weekly. “She is madly in love.”
The sourced added to the magazine, “They were friends before, the groundwork had been laid before. They had always been attracted to each other, but always in another relationship. It may seem quick, but they knew it was right. They believe in the same things. They are dedicated to their work and helping others."

From basketball games to red carpet events, the loved-up couple has been inseparable since they packed on the PDA at a farmers market in July. The actors moved fast, adopting a horse together in August and a kitten months later. They even started their own production company. The couple that works together stays together!

This will be Nikki’s second trip down the aisle. She was married to American Idol alum Paul McDonald for two years before calling in quits in March 2014. Ian’s relationship with Nikki is his first serious one since splitting from his Vampire Diaries co-star Nina Dobrev in 2013.
