Ireland Baldwin checked into a Malibu, California, rehab center over the weekend, a source revealed to to RadarOnline.com. And following the release of the RadarOnline.com report, Baldwin quickly took to her Twitter on Monday to confirm in a series of posts that she had indeed checked herself into a treatment facility.
“I checked myself into Soba for two weeks to just get away for a little bit. I'm not much a party cat but I am here deal with some emotional trauma and getting the intensive therapy I needed in order to recover. Someday I'll feel ready to share my story openly without feeling the way I do. Right now I just needed a breather. I needed a chance to work on myself and gather all the tools I need to overcome everything that I had been through and rid myself of all the pain I locked away in unreachable places,” she said in the tweets.
According to the insider, Baldwin, who is the daughter of Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin, did her intake into the facility on Apr. 9. “Ireland, accompanied by her mother Kim, did her intake at a center in Malibu on Thursday and checked in the following day,” the source said.

The same day of her intake, Baldwin also posted an image of a few books on Instagram, possibly hinting at her entrance into the rehab program.
The source said that Baldwin did not enter the facility on her own will. “She came in kicking and screaming,” the source claimed. The source added that she didn’t feel that she need any help despite her family's concern. “Apparently Ireland did not think that she has a problem but she has been partying non-stop and her family is worried sick about her,” the insider said.

Baldwin posted a revealing message on Twitter on Sunday night that said, “God… Grant me the serenity tonight.”
Though internet usage is not allowed in the facility, the source said that patients at the facility can “use their cell use their phones, go online and are fed elaborate dinners such as filet mignon.” And Baldwin isn’t the first in her family to enter the facility, with the source saying that “two of Ireland’s relatives also went to this facility” and it “is well-trusted in the family.” Are you surprised that Ireland checked into rehab?
