“Booze isn’t the real problem; it’s not like she’s some young starlet who’s just partying too much. There’s more going on with her than just addiction. She definitely suffers from some sort of mental illness or instability,” the source reveals.

Kim’s family is feeling the burden of her behavior as well. Her sister and former cast mate, Kyle Richards, is taking a tough-love approach. “People can say what they want, but she’s tried to get Kim help. Sometimes letting an addict bottom out is the only solution,” explains the source.
