It didn’t take long for Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s fellow Vanderpump Rules cast members to celebrate their engagement, as they threw them a surprise party only hours after he proposed.
Jax shared the big engagement news on Friday, which showed him happily smiling at her as she flashed her gorgeous ring. "She said yes!!!” he captioned. He also revealed that the proposal will be shown on the upcoming season of Vanderpump Rules.
Plenty of the show’s cast members, including Lisa Vanderpump, came together to celebrate their engagement Thursday night. Also in attendance were Kristen Doute, Stassi Schroeder, Peter Madrigal, Tom Sandoval, Scheana Shay, Katie Maloney-Schwartz and Tom Schwartz.
Brittany had no problem showing off her big sparkler during the party, where her friend and costar Lala Kent can be heard shouting “Oh my God! That is huge!” in the background.

Looks like that party did a number on Jax, as he shared a photo of him sleeping the day away after it had ended.
Jax looks very excited to be marrying his longtime girlfriend, even though the two have had major issues prior to their engagement (he cheated on her with a fellow staff member at Sur). He posted a video of her chatting it up with her mother on Friday, captioning it with “This makes my heart so happy. She hasn’t stopped smiling!! Talking to her mom!!”
