Jen Harley Says She's Not Interested In Dating Following Ronnie Ortiz-Magro Split
Jen Harley is single and not ready to mingle. The Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star said she's not interested in dating someone new following her messy split from Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. Jen took to her Instagram Stories on December 28 and revealed why.
“Just because I’m single, does not mean I’m available,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “I have zero interest in dating anyone right now. I’m actually the happiest I have been in a long time just getting me back, to me. working on my mind body and soul right now. #friendzone2020.” In another Instagram Story, posted on December 29, the mother of two wrote, "At this age, I'm only interested in consistency, stability, respect and loyalty."
Ronnie, 34, was arrested in October 2019 after an physical altercation allegedly occurred between him and Jen. The Jersey Shore star reportedly chased the mother of his child with a knife before being taken into custody.
Days after the incident, Us Weekly reported that the on-again, off-again couple had broken up for good. “They are broken up for good. Ronnie’s priority is his daughter, so he’ll do whatever he has to do to make sure she’s safe. He’s really aware of what the situation is with Jen. He’s now recognizing that the relationship is probably not healthy for him, Ariana or Jen," a source told Us Weekly.

The duo first started dating in 2017 and they share a 20-month-old daughter named Ariana.
In November, the reality star pleaded not guilty to all charges and was ordered to stay at least 150 yards away from Jen and Ariana. That same month, Ronnie shared a cryptic message on Instagram that alluded to his regrets about their relationship. "One of the most toxic things I've ever done was ignoring the bad in someone because I loved them," his post read.
On November 13, Jen explained on social media that she has no further plans for a permanent protective order against the Bronx native. “I’m not keeping Ariana from Ron I did not ask for a restraining order. I’m working on getting it dropped so he can see her if he wants too.”
