Happy birthday, Jenelle Evans! The mom of two is celebrating her 23rd birthday today, and leave it to her BF Nathan Griffith to make it special. So does “special” for Jenelle and Nathan mean “engaged?!”
Last night, Jenelle tweeted her excitement for her birthday, saying that Nathan “said I’m in for a huge surprise starting tonight at 9pm.” Of course, fans just assumed this meant that he was going to propose, especially because both Jenelle and Nathan have talked about eventually getting married.
But as of now, nope, they’re not engaged. But yes, they are naked! Jenelle shared this “no filter” photo of her and her beau in bed together without clothes on, because apparently there’s no such thing as TMI.
We guess the nakedness was a precursor to the bath they took together. We know that bathtub selfies are Jenelle’s favorite thing, so this is not at all shocking.
And turns out, the surprise was not a proposal but rather a night away from the kids at a beach hotel near their home in North Carolina! This ocean-side sunrise is kind of amazing.
But that’s not all! On Friday, Nathan kept the gifts coming. He gave Jenelle this gorgeous vanity, and inside were two tickets to St. Thomas!

Meanwhile, Jenelle’s sons Jace and Kaiser were most likely at home with her mom, Barbara, during their night out. “Nana got Kai the cutest Santa hat!,” she captioned this photo. Jenelle’s also been tweeting a ton lately about Christmas and the gifts she’s getting her boys, but perhaps her gift will be a diamond ring? Stay tuned…

And after all that, Jenelle did get a ring in the end! However, it’s not from Nathan. “Beautiful ring from my new friend/landlord,” Jenelle captioned this photo of the blue-stoned ring. Bummer that it’s not an engagement ring!
Though Jenelle did’t seem too upset. “Best birthday I’ve ever had in my life. Thanks for all the birthday wishes. Thanks to everyone for coming!,” she wrote of the low-key party.

Despite saying earlier this month that she was going to be “partyin’” on her birthday, it seems like Jenelle spent the morning after the celebration anything but hungover. “Successful night,” she wrote of this pic of her deflated balloons alongside her Christmas tree. Oh, how times have changed.
