Jenni Pulos Speaks For The First Time About Jeff Lewis Firing
Nov. 7 2018, Published 5:46 p.m. ET
It’s been about 3 months since Jeff Lewis and Jenni Pulos publicly ended their longtime friendship after a bitter fight. The former Flipping Out star finally got candid with People and gave her side of the story. Read on to see what she had to say.
Jenni admitted that she was totally blindsided by her firing. “I had no idea it was coming. I didn’t decide. He decided he was going to terminate me from his business and so then in turn, the decision was made. I always saw myself seeing the show through," she said.
She continued, “It was puzzling to me. He said he wanted me to go and do my thing. We see things very differently. I believed I had been an asset to his business and he believed differently, I imagine.”
Though she revealed that Jeff attempted to keep her on the show as a “friend,” she wanted no part of it. “I was not going to fake a friendship,” she insisted.

The 45-year-old said she was shocked at how angry Jeff reacted when news of their fight was finally made public, but she knew that she had to take the high road. “My engaging would not have been the right move. What good is that going to do? All I know is my own truth, she explained.
Jenni confessed that she hasn't spoken to her former friend since the firing but she added, “I’ve always wished him the best, and will continue to wish him the best. He’s a wonderful designer and has so many talents. I learned a lot and I’m proud of what we built.”
As OK! readers know, Bravo has since decided not to renew Jeff’s contract and Flipping Out still has not been officially given a 12th season.
