Jennifer Aniston invited Brad Pitt to her 50th birthday bash on Saturday, February 9, but a source close to the actress says they are simply friends. The insider called the party at Los Angeles' Sunset Tower Hotel a "celebration of Jen's life" and revealed the star went back and forth between inviting him. Keep reading for more details.
The source told People, "Jen didn't really pay any special attention to Brad."
"They hugged and chatted for a bit, but Jen was busy making sure all of her other guests had an amazing time," the person continued.
The source explained, “Every single person who loves Jen attended. This included Brad.”

The decision to invite her ex-husband wasn't easy. “Brad, for long, was a very important part of Jen’s life. She debated back and forth with friends if she should invite him,” the person revealed. She "was very happy that he showed up."
Back in August 2018, the two ignited engagement rumors for a second time when Jen was seen wearing a ring on her THAT finger. They ended their five year marriage in 2005.
