Jennifer Garner was spotted strolling through New York City on Wednesday, looking fresh faced and carefree just a month after she filed for divorce from Ben Affleck. After 12 years of marriage, the last two of which the couple spent separated, Jen finally moved forward with splitting from her husband last month. Now that she’s officially made the move towards ending their marriage, rumor has it the mom of three is getting back into the dating scene. And judging by these pics, Jen won’t have any trouble finding a new man!
While out with a friend, Jen kept her look simple but sleek in a black t-shirt, light blue cuffed jeans, and white sneakers. Fully embracing her role as a tourist, Jen also wore a cross-body purse and grabbed an iced drink for a little hydration.
Since their split, Jen and Ben have been spotted together multiple times, proving they’re trying to keep things amicable for their kids, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel. Jen’s solo trip to NYC is highly unusual for the dedicated mom.

Maybe Jen is trying to embrace the single life? A source told OK! exclusively that Jen’s friends Jessica Biel and Reese Witherspoon have been eagerly awaiting the time when Jen would finally let them set her up.
“They want to see her with a really nice genuine and successful guy who’s NOT in the business,” the insider claimed. “As for Jen, she just wants to get Ben out of her hair and move on.”
