David also released a statement through his attorney to Entertainment Tonight that read, “Mr. Otunga has never abused or harassed Ms. Hudson or their son, and it is unfortunate, especially in today’s climate, that she would feel the need to make these false allegations against him.”
“Mr. Otunga looks forward to his day in court and in being awarded the residential care of the parties’ only child,” the statement continued.
The Cats actress filed a restraining order against David in November 2017. According to court documents, Jennifer claimed he exhibited, “aggressive, threatening and harassing behavior” toward her.
How the restraining order will affect Daniel’s custody is unclear. The exact details regarding their custody agreement will be kept private at their request.
