Jennifer Lawrence is back in the spotlight once again, this time on the cover of Vogue’s September issue. The Mother actress’ cover story comes just days after Chris Pratt announced he and his wife of eight years, Anna Faris, are separating, making the timing of the cover story very, very awkward. As OK! readers know, Jennifer, 26, and Chris, 38, were rumored to have become more than just friends while filming their 2016 film, Passengers. Anna, 40, even admitted to feeling “incredibly insecure” over the affair rumors. Now that Chris and Anna are separating, Jen should probably be keeping a low profile, and the Vogue cover couldn’t come at a worse time!
Back in December, Jennifer and Chris’ chemistry was undeniable as they made the rounds promoting their film Passengers.
The chemistry was a little too hot for some, who wondered if there was more than friendship between Jen and Chris. Jennifer reportedly made her relationship with Darren Aronofsky more public to help dispel the rumors.
“Jen has found the claims really upsetting, because she’d never go near a married man,” an insider told Heat at the time.

In the midst of the Jen and Chris rumors, Anna admitted on her podcast, Anna Faris Is Unqualified, “In this crazy world where he’s off doing movies and I’m in L.A. raising our child four-year-old son Jack, of course I’m going to feel vulnerable, like any normal human would.”
On Sunday, August 6, Chris and Anna revealed they were ending their marriage. “We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed,” Chris wrote on Facebook. “We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another.”
