Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro revealed on an upcoming episode of The Doctors that he got liposuction! The reality star opted for the procedure because he doesn't have time to spend in the gym now that he's a father. Scroll through for more details!
"I’ve always been a work out fanatic, and I’ve also always been in shape, but it takes a lot of hard work to stay in shape. One year ago today my life completely changed. I had a little baby girl. She’s like my guardian angel, and now I can’t spend two to three hours every day in the gym like I used to," Ronnie said in a clip obtained by People.
In the clip, Ronnie meets with Dr. Christopher Khorsandi for the liposuction consultation.
"We’re going to do something today for Ronnie that wasn’t even available ten years ago. This is laser high-definition liposuction of the abdomen. We’re going to be able to get that area in between each of his abs completely defined, so that he actually has a six-pack for many, many years to come," the doctor explained.
If Ronnie sticks to a somewhat healthy diet, the results are permanent. If he gains weight it will simply be redistributed to other places on his body, but his abs will stay rock hard!
The surgery takes over four hours and costs between $20,000 - $30,000. Now that the MTV star is sober after going to rehab, he had to endure the recovery without any prescription pain medication. "I’m feeling like complete crap. It has not been a good experience," he told Dr. Travis Stork after going under the knife.
