Jessica Simpson Reveals Book Cover & Teases Details About Upcoming Memoir

Jessica Simpson is excited to show off her latest project. On December 4, the Blonde Ambition actress revealed the cover of her upcoming memoir, Open Book. Jessica, 39, first announced that the book was on the way in July.
Jessica posted a photo of herself and two of her kids, Ace and Maxwell, surrounded by what appeared to be signed manuscripts of her memoir. Her children proudly showed off their mother’s book cover, which featured a black-and-white photo of a beaming Jessica.
“I can’t believe this day is finally here!” the mother of three gushed on social media. “This is the cover of Open Book, my memoir, which is coming out February 4th. This book has been both the hardest and most rewarding experience of my career so far. I can’t wait to share it with you. Jessica announced her upcoming memoir on July 10. “I have been approached many times over the years about writing a book. It never felt right to me until this very moment,” she revealed at the time. “I have always felt that one of my God-given purposes in this life is to inspire people.”
The fashion mogul continued, “I hope that by telling my whole story and not holding back I can help move people to walk through their fears and defeat their challenges, as I am working hard to do every day with mine. I hope readers will feel the love, laughter, tears and truth contained in every page.”

According to Harper Collins Publishers, “Jessica reveals for the first time her inner monologue and most intimate struggles,” using “the journals she's kept since age fifteen.” The Texas native will include "how she chose to learn from each difficult moment, evolve musically, become a more fearless businesswoman, and consistently shatter all expectations of who she was 'supposed' to be," throughout the memoir.
2019 has been an exciting year for Jessica. She welcomed her third child, Birdie Mae, in March. She also revealed on September 24 that she lost 100 pounds since giving birth. Jessica took to Instagram to reveal the exciting milestone.
“So proud to feel like myself again,” Jessica wrote on social media. "Even when it felt impossible, I chose to work harder.”
