Jill Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard love a good date night, but their nights out haven’t been the most romantic as of late. Between two kids and Derick starting law school, the former Counting On stars have resorted to dates in the classroom and at Sam’s Club…with their kids. For once, though, the twosome managed to go somewhere a little different for an evening together — and with other couples!
Jill posted this pic of her and Derick enjoying a night out with two other couples. “Had a great triple date with these ppl last night!” Jill captioned the pic. “#GreatFriends #GreatFood #GreatFellowship,” she added.
While the date night spot appeared to be a church center rather than an actual restaurant, it’s still an improvement from the couple’s recent date night spots. Plus, it was major for the pair to be able to leave their two sons, Israel and Samuel, at home!
On his Instagram, Derick is vocal about always trying to find some alone time with his wife, even if it means getting truly creative. Jill even sat in on one of his law school classes once.

Plus, there was the time Derick called Sam’s Club a great date night spot since it had “food and even entertainment for the little ones!”
Jill was clearly getting tired of her and her husband’s less-than-stellar nights out. She recently gave her hubby a list of date night demands, which included “1) change of scenery; 2) not having to cook or do dishes; 3) quality hubby time no kids.” This date seemed to fit the bill at least!
