Over the weekend, Jill celebrated her son’s 4th birthday with her younger siblings, nieces and nephews, sister Jana, sister-in-law Anna, and mom Michelle.

In one of the photos, Jill appears to be wearing shorts — or at the very least, a skirt that falls several inches above her knees.

“I’m confused. I thought you guys couldn’t wear shorts??” a fan asked.

The Duggar girls typically keep themselves covered from the knees and up. They’ll even wear leggings under skirts and dresses to ensure their knees are covered.

It looks like Jill doesn’t follow that rule anymore, though!

Jill has also taken to regularly wearing jeans and heels. She’s come a long way since her 19 Kids & Counting days, as has her sister Jinger. The latter has been revamping her wardrobe (including adding sleeveless tops and red high heels!) ahead of her move to LA with husband Jeremy Vuolo.
