Inside Joanna Gaines’ Adorable Book-Themed Baby Shower

Joanna Gaines is expecting her fifth child with her husband Chip, so her friends threw her a baby shower over the weekend to celebrate her baby boy’s impending arrival. But what do you get for a woman who's already had four children? Instead of going the traditional route, the Fixer Upper host's friends got creative and threw her a book-themed baby shower!

Joanna shared a pic of herself sitting on a larger-than-life pile of books, with a cascading stream of large and small balloons raining down the side. “I like big books and I cannot lie,” she joked in the caption.

“Blown away by the creativity and thoughtfulness of my friends- just the cutest book shower ever for baby Gaines!” Joanna wrote.

“Feelin' the love... now I just need to figure out how to shove these books in my car so I can get them to the farm! #babygotbooks,” she finished.

In addition to the books and balloon, friends also helped decorate tables with a forest of homemade trees made from — what else? — pages from a book!

As Joanna sets her heart on turning her future baby into a bookworm, she’s already discovered he has a love of music! Last month, she shared a photo of her baby bump and captioned it, “This baby can already keep a beat… He loves music.”
