Jodie Sweetin thought she was safe when her ex-fiancé Justin Hodak was arrested and put in prison for making threats and illegal gun possession. Unfortunately for the Fuller House star, her safe feeling was short-lived. After serving just three months of his 120-day sentence, Justin was released early from the L.A. County Jail. Now, the actress has hired a full-time, 24/7 security team to keep her and her family safe, the Daily Mail reported. As Justin is seen walking around L.A. as a free man, Jodie is taking extreme measures to protect herself from her ex.
“Jodie found out that Justin was out and as you can imagine she's terrified, she's scared that he might act out and do something crazy to harm her,” a source told the Daily Mail.
Added the insider, “She’s got a huge security guard with her all the time so she feels a lot safe as a result. According to the source, Jodie’s team is being paid for by Warner Bros., the studio behind Fuller House.
But a source close to Justin claims the actress has nothing to fear. “Justin's been doing a lot of soul-searching in jail, he's had a few months banged up in a cell to think about all the mistakes he's made,” the insider told the site.

“He doesn't intend on messing up again and doing something stupid, he just wants to get on with his life and to do that he knows he has to stay away from Jodie,” the source continued.
According to court documents obtained by People magazine, Jodie broke off the couple’s engagement in March after Justin “engaged in a violent argument” with her and threatened to kill himself. She was then granted a restraining order against her ex, which Justin was then arrested for violating.
