The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 43, reported to prison on March 23 at noon to begin his sentence at the Federal Correction Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey.
"Joe Giudice surrendered himself to the Federal Correctional Institution at Fort Dix today at 12pm to begin serving his sentence. His brother, his sister and several other members of the Giudice family, as well as myself, were present when he turned himself in to the prison, including Teresa. It was obviously a very emotional day, but this is a very strong family with a tremendous support system and they will get through this, just as they did when Teresa was away," said Giudice family attorney James J. Leonard Jr. in a statement.

Joe was sentenced to 41 months for fraud and taxation charges in 2014 while his wife, 43, got 15 months at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Conn.
The father-of-four spent his last moments with Teresa, RadarOnline reported, on a romantic getaway to Virginia for his final weekend. Joe also had a party Monday night with his closest friends and family.
Last week, the couple also attended a fundraiser party together but Joe “seemed totally unlike his regular, jovial self,” a witness told Radar, who said he looked “worried” and “alone with his thoughts.”
