Joe Jonas didn’t learn from his breakup with Taylor Swift, as he once again broke up with a girlfriend over the phone! The DNCE singer ended his hot and heavy relationship with model Gigi Hadid after five months together during a phone call – and OKMagazine.com can exclusively reveal what ended their romance!
“Gigi wasn’t exactly the supportive girlfriend he expected from her,” a source close to the former Jonas Brothers star told OKMagazine.com. “Joe was always tweeting up a storm about her projects and fashion shows, but when his single and video came out, she didn’t mention a word about it.”
The 20-year-old model began dating the singer soon after her split from longtime boyfriend Cody Simpson. Their previous romance was a source of contention for the couple, as Gigi “constantly threw the Simpson family in his face.”

“He felt like she didn’t want to get to know his family,” the insider said. “She would spend her days off with Cody’s mother and sister.”
After feeling ignored by his own girlfriend, the 26-year-old was finally ready to end the relationship during a phone call. “He felt like he wasn’t wanted around anymore and that he deserves better than being someone’s second-to-last choice,” the source revealed.
