Chrissy Teigen may look like the epitome of perfection, but she openly admitted earlier this month that even she has her struggles. She had to come to terms with the fact that she was consuming too much alcohol over the years. Since her brave confession, husband John Legend has come forward to speak about her drinking problem.
In a new interview with Cosmopolitan, the singer said, “When she was thinking about how she wanted to drink less, we talked about it. I just want to support her.”
He continued, “I want her to be happy and to live the fullest, most awesome life she can, and I want us to do it together. Whenever she sets her mind to anything, I always tell her, ‘I want to support you and help you do it.’”
Previously, Chrissy, 31, also spoke with the magazine, and revealed that her love of wine led to her “making kind of an ass of myself to people that I really respected. That feeling, there’s just nothing like that. You feel horrible. It’s not a good look for me, for John, for anybody.”

In addition to providing insight about his wife's alcohol battle, John also had plenty to say about her struggle to have children. As Chrissy has spoken about in the past, she has had plenty of fertility struggles, which led to them choosing IVF. "It’s especially difficult when you can’t conceive naturally. You want to feel like everything’s working properly and want everything to be perfect, but sometimes it’s not," said John.
"I wouldn’t say we can’t conceive naturally, but I would say that it’s enough of a challenge where it felt like we needed help. We’re lucky that we’re living in an age where we can conceive in other ways. IVF brought us Luna and hopefully it will bring us a few more awesome kids," he continued.
