In court documents obtained by People, Johnny, 55, spoke candidly about their four year long relationship and the abuse accusations Amber, 33, made in May 2016.
“I have denied Ms. Heard’s allegations vehemently since she first made them in May 2016 when she walked into court to obtain a temporary restraining order with painted-on bruises that witnesses and surveillance footage show she did not possess each day of the preceding week,” he said. “I will continue to deny them for the rest of my life.”
“I never abused Ms. Heard or any other woman,” he added.
Johnny claimed that he was actually the victim of abuse. “She was the perpetrator,” he said.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star claimed Amber’s alleged physical abuse happened while she was under the influence of drugs and alcohol. “While mixing prescription amphetamines and non-prescription drugs with alcohol, Ms. Heard committed innumerable acts of domestic violence against me, often in the presence of a third-party witness, which in some instances caused me serious bodily harm,” he claimed.
He alleged, “Amber hit, punched, and kicked me,” before adding, “She also repeatedly and frequently threw objects into my body and head, including heavy bottles, soda cans, burning candles, television remote controls, and paint thinner cans, which severely injured me.”
However, Amber and her lawyer Eric George have denied her ex-husband’s claims. “The evidence in this case is clear: Johnny Depp repeatedly beat Amber Heard,” Eric said in a statement.
“The increasingly desperate attempts by Mr. Depp and his enablers to revive his career by initiating baseless litigation against so many people once close to him — his former lawyers, former managers, and his former spouse — are not fooling anyone,” he continued.
Amber and Johnny tied the knot in 2015 but split in May 2016 after she filed a restraining order against him. The pair settled their divorce out of court in August 2016. Amber donated the $7 million settlement she received to charity.
