As more details continue to unfold celebrities are speaking out on Amber Heard’s domestic violence accusations against her husband, Johnny Depp.
Heard filed for divorce Wednesday, May 25, and was granted a restraining order two days later after claiming Johnny assaulted her on her birthday. Since then the public and celebs alike have weighed in on the abuse allegations.
Mickey Rourke, who costarred with Johnny in Once Upon a Time in Mexico, told TMZ on Friday, that Johnny “doesn't seem like a very violent man to me. He's a very low-key guy," Rourke confessed. "He's always been really low key and a gentleman and not violent.”
Laurie Holden
Joining the outpour of public opinion was The Walking Dead star Laurie Holden, who tweeted, on Friday, “I, for one, am going to see Johnny Depp's new movie. His personal life is just that. Personal. No one knows the real truth so just zip it.”

Another costar of the actor, Paul Bettany, also weighed in, tweeting on Saturday, that he has “known Johnny Depp for years and through several relationships,” adding, "He's the sweetest, kindest, gentlest man that I've ever known. Just saying.”
Andy Richter
Andy Richter was another celeb to join the twitter conversation, tweeting, “One of the things you can pay a publicist to do is make your ex look bad in the press after you've been accused of abuse.”
While many celebs have come out in support of Johnny, Amber isn’t short of supporters either as former Office star Rainn Wilson called Johnny a “wife beater,” on twitter which sprung the hashtags #I'mWithAmber and #IStandWithAmber to trend on the social media site.
Evan Rachel Wood Retweets Steph Farnsworth
Evan Rachel Wood also came to Heard’s defense, tweeting the word “Boom” after she quoted a now-deleted tweet that said, "Amber Heard's sexuality is only relevant in that bi women are at far greater risk of experiencing intimate partner violence. Bisexuality however is not a reason for violence. It doesn't mean Heard is somehow immoral or deserving of abuse."
