Disney Channel fans rejoice! The Jonas Brothers are planning their musical comeback as group and will reunite for some new upcoming projects. Sources dished to Us Weekly that the former pop trio is back in action and will release more music together. Keep reading to hear more!
An insider revealed to the outlet that bandmates Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas will drop the “Brothers” from their band name for their future projects.
They will now work under the single handle of “JONAS.”
The Sun reported that the three brothers were recently in London to discuss new music. The publication wrote, "After enjoying solo music success and taking time to work on passion projects, they feel that now is the right time to get back together."
The band announced they were breaking up in 2013 after the release of their last album, V.
In their breakup interview on Good Morning America at the time, they revealed the reason for the split."I think it was time, and for us it took some time getting there, but we feel like it's time that the Jonas Brothers come to an end," Kevin said.
"We're family first, and that's always been our main priority, and so honesty within what we do as a group was really important. I came to the table with the guys just before we were prepping to leave for tour, and I shared my heart with them, my feelings," Nick told GMA host Robin Roberts. "In a nutshell, I said, ‘Look, I feel like we've had some complications within the group for a long time without addressing them. I think this train will fall off the tracks without really getting real about some of the concerns and some of the limitations that we may feel as individuals in the group.' It was a tough conversation."
