Last week, 2/3 of the Jonas Brothers tweeted that they were working things out and trying to figure out the future of the band. Of course, those tweets came after the news that the bros would be canceling their tour due to "a rift in the band." And now, it's here, folks—the official statement from the JoBros that the group is no more.
Kevin, Joe and Nick said in a statement to People, "It's over for now. It's really hard to say 'forever.' We're closing a chapter, for sure."
Joe added that the decision to end things at the moment was "unanimous," which in celebrity terms means there's no hard feelings and they still love each other, blah blah blah. This of course also means that the Jonas Brothers will not be releasing their album, V, which was supposed to come out later this year. Doesn't this tour announcement video that they posted in August feel reallllly awkward to watch now?!
