Josh Duggar Named As ‘Alleged Offender’ In Underage Sexual Assault Case: Report
Watch: Josh Duggar Named As ‘Alleged Offender’ In Underage Sexual Assault Case
The Duggar family has a few scandals and counting, but a new report alleges that the 19 Kids And Counting stars were keeping one very big scandal involving the eldest child, Joshua Duggar, secret for a decade.
In Touch reported that a police report from just before 2005 cited Josh, now 27 but underage at the time, as the “alleged offender” for “inappropriate touching” of a female minor, whose name was not released, in the fourth degree.
But more shocking than the investigation was that Josh’s father, Jim Bob Duggar, was the one that turned him in. “Jim Bob did what he thought was right,” the source reportedly said.

A source said the Duggar patriarch brought Josh to the Arkansas State Police station after he “learned that something inappropriate occurred” with the girl in her bedroom.
The case, however, was never reported with the Child Abuse Hotline, but only emerged later on as part of a separate investigation.

Police told In Touch that they “can’t comment or discuss because of the sensitive nature and because it involved a juvenile.” The investigation eventually halted with another division of the Arkansas State Police after a technicality.
Josh Duggar, who now has three children with Anna Duggar and another on the way, has confessed to “temptations” on his website and said his “parents’ commitment to accountability” helped him in his “struggles.”
