Josh Duggar’s Legal Battle Heats Up — Arkansas Officials Fighting Back!
April 25 2018, Updated 4:19 p.m. ET
Josh Duggar's lawsuit against Springdale and Washington County isn’t going as smoothly as he may have hoped. Authorities in Arkansas recently responded to it—regarding the release of documents that alleged he sexually molested his sisters when he was a teen—and they’ve denied the former reality star “any relief,” according to docs obtained by RadarOnline.
“Defendant Washington County denies each and every allegation of Plaintiff’s Complaint not specifically and expressly admitted herein,” court documents read.
Back in March, Josh filed the lawsuit, claiming he has suffered “severe emotional distress, mental anguish and substantial loss of income,” due to the Arkansas officials’ release of documents, which exposed him as an alleged child molester.

According to the newly obtained lawsuit docs, Arkansas officials have vehemently denied Josh’s claims and are demanding a trial by jury. They also claimed that Josh “has failed to state a claim upon which relief can be granted.”
While Josh filed a similar lawsuit last year, it was ultimately thrown out.
As OK! readers know, in 2015 news broke that as a teen Josh inappropriately touched five girls, four of which his own sisters.
