Justin, 25, sings an independent verse where he discusses his depression. “With all these people all around / I’m crippled with anxiety / But I’m told it’s where we’re supposed to be.”

He then praises Hailey, 22, for sticking by his side with the lyrics, “You know what? It’s kinda crazy ‘cause I really don’t mind / And you make it better like that.”

Justin and Ed, 28, both come together for the main chorus, “‘Cause I don’t care when I’m with my baby, yeah / All the bad things disappear.” The duo previously collaborated for the 2015 single “Love Yourself.”

In February the “Sorry” singer opened up about abusing Xanax and being “emotionally unstable” in an interview for Vogue. Since then, he’s been giving fans frequent updates, including snapping a picture from his therapy session where he said, “It’s cool to be healthy.”

This new single is one of the many times Justin has opened up about his ongoing battle with depression recently. On May 2 he shared a lengthy post in which he told fans, “Don’t stop fighting the battle has already won.. fight for what you love and who you love don’t let fear and anxiety win.”
