Although Kaitlyn and Nick Viall explained that they only exchanged friendly text messages before he shockingly joined the show mid-season, reports now claim that their communication was actually hot and heavy!

“They were exchanging in explicit communication for three weeks before filming,” a source told Us Weekly of the steamy text messages, calls and FaceTime chats.

Their relationship explains why Nick automatically became the front-runner over men who were there for four weeks. “He and Kaitlyn had sex more than people knew,” the source dished of the couple’s multiple romps, one of which was a major storyline this season.

After the duo met Nick’s family during hometown dates, they got even more serious and couldn’t help but have sex again. “They said ‘I love you’ multiple times,” a source said.
