Kandi Burruss Breaks Down After Andy Cohen Comforts Her Over Surrogacy Journey

Kandi Burrus recently opened up on the Real Housewives of Atlanta about her and her husband, Todd Tucker, fighting about using a surrogate for their second child together. Kandi also revealed on February 18 that it was Andy Cohen who gave her the strength to move forward.
Kandi, 42, went on Busy Tonight to discuss to the argument between her and Todd, 45. She told Busy Philipps, “I’m pretty much an open book. I had to go through the IVF process to get my son, and I have been having some issues or whatever.”
She then revealed during a chat with Watch What Happens Live host Andy, 50, “I had made a comment. I said something like, ‘I guess I’m gonna have a baby mama.’”
The RHOA star continued, “And he said to me, ‘Don’t you ever say that because you are the mother. And to say she’s your baby's mom is taking away from you.’”

Kandi broke down in tears as she said, "It made me feel better." She also admitted Andy gave her the advice before he publicly announced he was going to use a surrogate to have his first child.
“And then when he announced it, he hit me up immediately and said, ‘Now you see why I felt so strongly,’” she said through more tears. Andy welcomed his son, Benjamin Allen Cohen, via surrogate on February 4.
