Kandi Burruss attempted to make peace with Kenya Moore on Sunday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta after learning that Phaedra Parks' hubby Apollo Nida lied about Moore making advances at him.
During a workout session with Moore, Burruss brought up the false accusations and apologized for siding with the couple without knowing the full story.
"I am not one to play follow the leader so I am going to do what I feel is right. It is wrong to have dissed this woman for two years, so I am going to apologize," Burruss said during her confessional on the Nov. 30 episode.
While speaking with Moore, Burruss admitted that she had initially believed Nida over her fellow housewife. "I tried not to side with anybody but I will admit that I believed them more than you, and I would like to apologize," Burruss said.
Moore warmly accepted her apology. But when Burruss added that NeNe Leakes and Porsha Williams recently said they still believed that something happened between Moore and Nida, Moore quickly became emotional.
“It is too much. Really? The man just confessed it was a lie. and they are still going to sit there and try and dump dirt on me. It is bull***t. I don’t f**k around with other people's husbands,” Moore said.”Everybody makes mistakes, but I own up to my mistakes. I am sick of it Kandi, I really am.”
Moore added that she felt that Leakes and Williams were “evil” and attempting to “make her look bad.”
