Kanye West’s fashion show for his Yeezy Season 3 collection garnered a lot of attention. The the rap mogul also cut a lot of corners to pull off the production at Madison Square Garden in New York City!
The 38-year-old only paid his models $150 for their time. The men and women he used weren’t even cast from an agency! An insider told RadarOnline.com they were hired extras from a casting company that supplies extras to film and commercial sets.
"It was freezing inside the arena prior to the show starting. Most of the models weren't wearing a lot, and couldn't layer,” said the source.
Kanye also had a long list of demands that the models had to adhere to! The ridiculous instructions included “No dancing, No eye contact, and no sexy posing.”
There were 1,500 models in total. They were allowed meal breaks but the day was “long” and “grueling.”
The men and women were also required to sign a NDA, which prohibited anyone from talking about the show or Kanye himself. Anyone who broke contract could be sued for $10 million.
Kanye revealed via Twitter he is $53 million in personal debt because of his fashion line with Adidas. He even begged Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, for a $1 billion donation!
Ironically, tickets to the fashion show cost $100 bucks and his sneakers retail for over $300!
