Kanye West may love that Kim Kardashian shares everything with the world, but he is not about sharing his wife! The rapper had a fit of jealousy and reportedly fired their longtime security guard for talking to her.
The New York Daily News reported that the rapper “lost it” on their bodyguard, Steve Stanulis, at the Waldorf Astoria moments before leaving for the Met Gala on May 2 because he was conversing with Kim.
Sources said Stanulis was talking to Kim when controlling Kanye freaked out. The father-of-two was heard saying, “This isn’t right!” before he fired as he waited with the security team to drive them to the NYC gala.

According to the report, this isn’t the first time Kanye had beef with the celebrity bodyguard, famous for protecting the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio and more. West and Stanulis had a “brief run-in” back in February, also because Steve was talking to Kardashian.
The security guard, who is an ex-NYPD officer and former exotic dancer, did not address the situation but did say he is “a happily married man with three children.” West’s team denied firing him.

It’s not uncommon for the Kardashian family to fire their staff, either. Back in October, former staffers revealed that “monster momager” Kris Jenner “terrorizes” her help and has fired four assistants. The matriarch also fired her security staff in December and Kanye’s team stepped in the interim.
