While enjoying a little shopping in New York City on Wednesday, a photographer's sweatshirt caught his eye.

Ye summoned the photog over and asked him about the piece. He then took a few photos of the man’s sweatshirt on his smartphone.

He snapped the front and the back of the NASA-themed crewneck sweatshirt by D9 Reserve, which features space-related patches on the arms and stars on the back.

In his gratitude for the young man’s fashion knowledge, West even took a picture with the photog.

For his leisure day in NYC, West wore distressed jeans, a grey sweatshirt and camel chelsea boots.

And the look must be the rapper’s new uniform, seeing that he wore a similar outfit at the Los Angeles Lakers season opener against the Houston Rockets on Oct. 28. He attended the basketball game with his wife Kim Kardashian.
