Karrueche Tran has been flourishing in the months following her breakup with Chris Brown, landing several new acting gigs and even signing a contract with Wilhelmina Models. But a source close to Tran has revealed that all her success as a single lady couldn't keep her from being infuriated by the new reports that Brown has reconciled with his ex Rihanna.

According to reports, Brown and Rihanna have been in communication for the past few months, with a report from MediaTakeOut.com this week claiming that a witness claimed to have watched Chris and Rih FaceTime during a studio session.

Seeing that Rihanna has been linked to both Karim Benzema and Formula One racer Lewis Hamilton this summer, most Chrianna fans aren’t convinced the duo is completely exclusive. And Brown’s current drama with the mother of his daughter, Reign, has added to the questions surrounding the status of his relationship with Rih.

However, the source told HollywoodLife.com that the reports of the two getting back together have been enough to annoy Tran. “She knows they are in contact and it breaks her heart,” the source said. “She’s focused on her career but she can’t help but think about Chris. And thinking about him with Rihanna really upsets her.”
The source added that the exes' alleged chats also support Tran’s suspicions that Brown was still talking to Rihanna during their relationship. “Kae always felt Chris was secretly talking and seeing Rihanna when they were together. Hearing that they are getting close again just confirms that in her head,” the source said.
Tran and Brown have kept their distance since their awkward run-in at a Los Angeles, California, nightclub back in June.
