Kate Beckinsale Snaps At An Instagram Commenter About Her Friend

Kate Beckinsale may be trying to give Chrissy Teigen a run for her money when it comes to answering fans on social media! The actress is making headlines for her answer to an Instagram follower who asked if her young male friend was her son. Keep reading for details on their exchange.

It all started with a picture Kate shared of herself at the Lakers game with her pal, Stephen Simbari.

"Everyone was pretty tense for the game but apparently I’m just here for the fashion and was enchanted by some particularly fire tube socks #lakers,” she wrote about the game between Lebron James' current and former teams. 

The Underworld star and mom to her 19-year-old daughter, Lily Mo Sheen, wrote back, "He is my son yes. I kept him in the cellar for 29 years but now I feel I should take him out on jaunts.”

It's not the first time that Kate snarkily responded to a follower. After the 2019 Golden Globes, she shared a throwback photo of her mom and a follower wrote, "Dear heavens, Kate. Not Pete Davidson," referring to the news she and Pete were seen leaving a party together. "No that's my mother. Easy mistake," she quipped.
