Father Figure! Kate Hudson’s New Man Looks Super Close To Her Son Already

Kate Hudson may have just debuted her relationship with musician Danny Fujikawa, but she’s already trying to make sure her new boyfriend gets along with her son, Bingham. The trio was spotted heading to the movies in Malibu on Monday, and the five-year-old looks super comfortable with his mom’s new man! Kate is head over heels for her boyfriend, whom she described as “the best!” to Extra, and her son must be a fan, too!

Bingham is Kate’s son with her ex-fiancé, Matt Bellamy of the band Muse. Like Matt, Danny is also a musician. According to Us Weekly, he’s the former singer and guitarist for the L.A.-based band Chief.

When asked to describe her new boyfriend at the red carpet premiere of her mom Goldie Hawn’s film Snatched, the actress replied, “How long do you have? He’s a good man.”

Maybe Bingham bonded with Danny quickly because he's used to seeing his mom with rockers. Prior to dating Danny and even Bingham’s dad Matt, Kate was married to Chris Robinson, who is, you guessed it, also a musician. Kate has one son, Ryder, 13, with her ex-husband.

Kate's family is already a fan of Danny's as well. During their red carpet outing earlier this month, a source told OK! exclusively that Danny “seemed…to fit in just like a member of the family.” “He’s a great guy,” Kate’ stepdad Kurt Russell gushed to ET Online.
