Royal biographer Nicholas Davies told OK! Magazine that Prince Charles was angry that the Middleton family were the first to see Prince George when he was born in 2013 and wants that changed this time around.

Now, the couple have decided to diffuse the situation by letting Charles—or even Queen Elizabeth—in the delivery room before Kate’s family when she gives birth in late April at the $15,000-a-night Lindo Wing of London’s St. Mary’s Hospital.

Another source added that William and Kate “want to head of any further family squabbles,” leading to their decision to let Charles have his way—a decision that is “guaranteed to drive Carole crazy.”

Prince Charles is also mad he doesn’t get to see Prince George often enough! According to Davies, Charles is “not just hurt, he’s hopping mad” that the Middleton family sees the 20-month old more than he does.

“Charles makes no secret of his annoyance that he’s hardly ever invited to see little George,” Davies said, adding that he’s angry Carole Middleton has “virtually moved in” with the young couple.
