Kate Middleton Wears Princess Diana’s Favorite Tiara To White Tie Party At The Palace

Kate Middleton stunned as she made her way to a white tie affair at Buckingham Palace Tuesday evening. The pregnant Duchess wore her later mother-in-law, Princess Diana’s, favorite tiara, the gorgeous diamond and pearl “Lover’s Knot” tiara. Click through to see pics of Kate’s royal look!
Kate and Prince William were spotted as they were driven to Queen Elizabeth’s annual diplomatic reception in a private car.
Kate wore her hair in one of her signature updos.
She paired the tiara with pearl drop earrings and a stunning diamond necklace.

The tiara originally belonged to Queen Mary, who had it made in 1914. The gorgeous headpiece was a favorite of Princess Diana’s, who was photographed wearing it here during a visit to Hong Kong in 1989.
Kate wore the tiara to the same reception last year, but paired it with a red gown.
