Katy Perry held nothing back as she attacked her fellow American Idol judge, Lionel Richie on live television! On Jimmy Kimmel Live, the singer had a lot to say about the 68-year-old, even dragging his daughters Nicole and Sofia into the drama.

She told Jimmy that while she and Luke are very close, like brother and sister, Lionel is more of an uncle. “We respect him just about as much as his kids respect him. Which is not a lot.”

Katy is more than likely commenting on Sofia’s relationship with Scott Disick. When news first broke about Scott and Sofia’s romance back in September 2017, Lionel did not mince words when he told Us Weekly that he has “been in shock” about his daughter’s new boyfriend.

“I'm the dad, come on,” added the singer. “I’m scared to death, are you kidding me?” But clearly Sofia isn’t too concerned about her dad’s opinion as she and Scott are still going strong.

Katy took another jab at Lionel, saying that when he talks to contestants about the infamous artists he’s worked with, including Whitney Houston, his comments are more like “TED Talks,” which are usually about an hour long.

“We’re ruining his legacy,” she said jokingly. “He’s an uncle you want in your house telling you telling you all these wonderful historical stories and he does have some tea but we can’t put that on TV,” she added.
