Insiders say that Kelly “went rogue” and didn’t follow opening chat topics, according to RadarOnline, because she knows Strahan does not like to address his failed marriages with Wanda Hutchins and Jean Muggli.

“He was shocked and taken aback,” an insider told Radar. “His face said it all. He hates talking about his divorce and exes and knows she’s trying to damage his reputation with women viewers. By contrast, Kelly has been married 20 years.”

Guests on the show said that tensions are high between Ripa and Strahan since his shocking departure announcement but Kelly’s divorce jab really hurt Michael. “After segment he confronted her at break,” the insider told Radar. “She laughed and said it was just fun, but he got more and more angry and after show he snapped at her backstage.”

Strahan announced that his last day on Live! will be May 13 before his gig at Good Morning America begins in September but the former pro footballer is worried on-set diva Kelly will keep taking swipes. “He fears this is going to go on until he leaves!” said the source. “She’s taken digs at him, but never on live TV before.
