During last night’s mid-season finale of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kris Jenner answered some tough questions about her ex-husband, Caitlyn Jenner. When asked if she’d “turned a blind eye” to Caitlyn’s gender identity struggles throughout their 24-year marriage, the momager denied knowing anything was going on. Then her daughter Kendall Jenner came to her defense, and admitted that she and her sisters kept many of their father’s secrets from her.
“I just think I didn’t have the whole truth of what was going on in his life,” Kris said during a mock interview training with her daughters, during which they were asked difficult and uncomfortable questions to better prepare them for similar scenarios in the future.
“We kept a lot of it from you,” Kendall admitted of her father’s transgender identity.
“There were things that happened that they didn’t tell me, because they were told not to," Kris revealed. While Kris said she isn’t “resentful” about the secrets, she confessed that it made her “really sad.”

"I'm a protective mom. I would do anything for my kids. And had I known some of the things they were experiencing...it just broke my heart, hearing some of that stuff,” Kris said.
Kris said she never would have guessed Caitlyn’s secret. “I wouldn’t have seen that truth in, like, a gazillion years,” she said.
