Kerry Washington and her husband Nnamdi Asomugha have reportedly been dealing with some serious marriage drama over the past few months. But sources close to the pair now say the situation has become dire and a split may be on the horizon.
As we reported earlier, a source speaking to RadarOnline.com said that the actress and former footballer are dealing with some serious tension in their marriage. “The root of the problem is that Nnamdi feels threatened by Kerry’s success,” the insider said.
But even though Washington reportedly suggested the pair go to therapy to keep their issues from becoming worse, another source says their marriage troubles may be too serious to fix.
"She’s already consulted a divorce attorney and they’re hashing out the details,” a source told In Touch. “She wanted to wait until there was a break in shooting so she could properly go over the paperwork.”

Washington and Asomugha were married in a secret wedding ceremony in June 2013 and welcomed their daughter, Isabelle Amarachi, in April 2014.
The extremely private couple, who are rarely even seen out together, have remained silent regarding the split talk.
However, the source added that they are trying to be “mature adults” when it comes to figuring out the solution for their relationship troubles. Do you think Kerry and Nnamdi are a good match? Tweet us @OKMagazine or let us know in the comments section below.
