Halloween is here and Kevin Hart is ready for the spooky day! While posting to Instagram on Wednesday night, October 30, Kevin, 40, debuted his hilarious costume, which pokes fun at his BFF Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
In the photo, Kevin rocked a black shirt, blue jeans, silver chain, and a black fanny pack. To put the icing on the cake, Kevin wore a curly wig to match his Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle costar’s, 47, hair texture. Followed by some laughing emojis, Kevin explained that it’s important to laugh at yourself from time to time. “This sh*t makes me laugh. #NailedIt #HappyHalloween,” he wrote as the caption.
It’s good to see that Kevin is in good spirits. Last month, Kevin was involved in a near-fatal car crash, which involved driver Jared Black and his fiancée Rebecca Broxterman. After taking some time to focus on his recovery, Kevin shared an emotional video on Wednesday, October 30, that documented his healing progress.
“Basically what you realize is that you're not in control. No matter how much you think you're in control, you're not in control,” Kevin said in the opening of the video. “At the end of the day, it can all be over, man.”
According to several reports, Kevin spent 10 days in the hospital and underwent successful surgery. The video captured Kevin crying of pain as he attempted to stand without a walker.
“When God talks, you gotta listen,” he admitted. “I swear, life is funny. Because some of the craziest things that happen to you end up being the thing that you needed most. And in this case, I honestly feel like God basically told me to sit down. When you’re moving too fast and you’re doing too much sometimes you can’t see the things that you’re meant to see.”
After the news surfaced on the internet that Kevin had seriously been injured, many posted heartfelt messages to social media including his friend The Rock. “Stop messing with my emotions brother @kevinhart4real.We have a lot more laughing to do together. Love you man. Stay strong,” he wrote.
