Sometimes the best things happen when you least expect them, and that’s exactly what went down for Khloe Kardashian when she was unexpectedly set up on a first date with her current love Tristan Thompson! The reality star told all about it in a new Keeping up with The Kardashians special, saying she was “ambushed” as she didn’t know any of this was happening in the first place.
She spoke to Ryan Seacrest about that fateful night, saying that she was only set up spontaneously because of her own reluctance.
The guy in charge of the date happening was someone Khloe knew very well. "Brandon Jennings, who's a basketball player, he's a friend of mine and Malika Haqq’s, and he was like, 'You're such a good girl, I want to introduce you to someone,'” Khloe explained.
Then, Tristan became the surprise guest of the evening. "I was at the Bel-Air hotel. Tristan came to the dinner because I didn't want to go on a blind date, so Brandon kind of ambushed the blind date. So, I had a bunch of people and he brought him and we just connected," Khloe said.

In the clip, even her sister Kim Kardashian was surprised as she had no idea how the two met in the first place!
The couple have been together for close to a year and are quite inseparable. According to Khloe, things are going pretty well for her and the Cleveland Cavaliers star and that fans should expect both of them to be on KUWTK in the future.
"If he's around, of course he'll be on,” she confirms. Wonder what kind of energy he will bring to the iconic reality show?
